My name is L. R. Akers, and I am a graduate student at Augusta University. All my life, I was afraid of having to choose between my two passions: the sciences and the arts. Through medical Illustration, I realized I didn't have to.
By creating detailed illustrations and animations, I aim to capture the essence of medical and scientific concepts and bring them to life visually.
My illustrations serve as educational tools, no matter a person's background, and are used in various medical publications, educational materials, and presentations.
